The coupling of the Chevrolet LS2 Corvette V8 and the Tremec 6-speed transmission (or 4 speed auto) has made this "Tin Indian" a noble warrior. The Pontiac Tempest V8 GTO arguably was one of the first Pony cars of the 60‘s. Pontiac, the famous Ottawa Indian Chief that roamed the old Fort Detroit area 250 years ago, would be proud of how his legend has been carried forward.

Like current versions of the Corvette C6, the BORLA® (PN 140165) GTO Cat-Back™ includes a proprietary BORLA® Merge X-Pipe that combines the exhaust gasses to smoothly blend the powerful V8 exhaust pulses that assist in both performance and sound attenuation. The full direct bolt-on mandrel bent high quality austenitic T-304 Stainless Steel Cat-Back® is over 25 pounds lighter than stock while flowing over 200cfm more air, accounting for the dramatic performance and mileage improvements. The system delivers the S-Type Classic sound. The split rear exit features large single 5" round bright chrome on T-304 stainless steel rolled round angle cut tips on each tail pipe proclaims this GTO means all business. Ultra-smooth mandrel bends ensure maximum flow & power, and precision computer numerical control (CNC) manufacturing ensures an accurate fit.
