How Long will it take for my item(s) to arrive?

I have seen an item on your website cheaper in the USA?

If you purchase a product from the USA it will be liable for UK customs Duty and VAT charges for the value of the part plus the value of the shipping, also you will usually be charged an administration fee from the courier. Our prices will almost always be cheaper than buying direct from the manufacturer, please bear in mind the above charges you will be invoiced for if you choose to purchase directly. My credit/debit card was declined when I placed an order but my money has left my account, what’s happened?

The vast majority of the time this will be when the address you entered does not EXACTLY match the billing address your card issuer has on their records. We use one of the world’s leading payment authorisation companies to process your order through our website and for your protection our website will decline any orders that do not match. If your card is declined we will not accept/receive the money and the funds are "held" by your bank for up to 5 business days, after this time the funds should be released and available in your account again. Please understand Tarmac Sportz Limited does not take or receive any money from a declined purchase and there is nothing we can do to resolve or speed up the process of your held funds and can only advise contacting your bank so please take time in entering your details correctly.

Do you price match?

Yes we will try to price match any genuine like for like price advertised on the internet from another UK performance parts supplier. This does not include auction sites or overseas suppliers and we will require evidence. We cannot price match if paying by the finance option, the finance company charges for this service so our parts are priced accordingly so we can absorb this cost.

Can I pay through PayPal?

Yes you can check out via Paypal or contact us to send you a paypal invoice

Do you provide a fitting/tuning service?

We can for certain parts, Plus we do deal with specialist experienced performance shops that are of no affiliation to Tarmac Sportz Limited

Do you do Group buys?

Yes we do, contact us with details and we will be happy to supply a quote.

Will you sponsor my car?

We may be interested if it is of mutual benefit, we do not give away free parts as we pay for parts ourselves but we may be able to offer discounted prices. Please contact us with details and plans for your build. If you are planning a special build then we have contacts with various performance magazines so we can look at getting you a shoot and write up.

Do you supply parts overseas?

Yes we do, we supply to most EU countries and this is available via the website. If you are outside the EU please contact us to see if we can ship to you. WE DO NOT SHIP TO THE USA DUE TO INSURANCE PURPOSES SORRY

Why is my part different to the picture?

Some of the parts may change slightly without our knowledge, some parts unless specifically stated may be supplied in a different colour, some of the pictures used are generic and used as a guide only. Please refer to manufacturers websites prior to ordering if you require exact matches. If you have purchased a polished intake and it has arrived black then that is a mistake. Please advise us immediately and we will rectify as soon as possible.

Can you ship to this address on this precise date and time/my shipment hasn’t arrived?

Unfortunately we cannot give precise dates and times due to the complexity of the parts we supply and how they are sourced. We use DPD for the majority of our shipments; all deliveries must be “signed for” on receipt. Once we dispatch a product you will usually receive an email with tracking information on. If you miss a shipment then you can ring the courier and either arrange collection from a local depot or re-arrange delivery. If tracking details have been sent but the goods have not arrived with you please contact the courier. If the courier cannot resolve the issue then please contact us. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK YOUR CAR IN FOR WORK UNTIL THE GOODS WE SUPPLY ARE PHYSICALLY CHECKED AND IN YOUR POSSESSION.

I am having trouble fitting a part, how do you fit this?

Tarmac Sportz Limited staff are car enthusiasts and do have knowledge of a lot of the parts sold but please bear in mind we are not mechanics or tuners and there are nearly ten thousand parts available on our website. We urge you to take any part supplied by us to a specialist for professional installation; Incorrect DIY installation of some products supplied by us can result in serious malfunction, or worse, and may not be covered by the supplier’s warranty. Please leave it to the professionals. See below for recommended fitters/tuners. Some parts supplied may throw up engine lights and/or errors, this may require ECU resets.

My part has become defective can you replace it?

Please see out terms and conditions page, only parts that are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty are eligible for replacement. The majority of parts only carry 12 months warranty and may need returning to the manufacturer for investigation at your cost. Please research the product before purchase.

What is the exact weight, size, decibel level etc etc?

We are a source for your performance and styling parts; we do not carry stock of all the parts advertised. The information provided on our website is what we are given by the manufacturer, we would advise contacting the manufacturer for any specific or technical question that is not written in the product description as they are better equipped to answer your questions in a timely manner.

Why have I received an invoice from UK customs?

If you receive an invoice for UK VAT or Duty then please contact us immediately as there has been an administration error by our courier, if possible please scan and email the invoice to us and we will take care of it immediately. DO NOT PAY the invoice.

Why do you have this item on the website if its not in stock? 

This is a question that occasionally gets asked by people who have absolutely no understanding of the performance car parts business, there is not a single company like ours that could possibly keep every part on the shelf, it's impossible. It's rare that the manufacturers actually have all their products in stock let alone business's like ourselves that distribute many brands, we would need 10 warehouses the same size as Amazon if we did. The performance car part business has been particularly hit hard during the last few years with manufacturing set backs, material shortages, shipping issues etc etc. If an item is out of stock here or at our suppliers we will try our best to notify you within 48 hours and we can offer alternatives, a refund or put the order on back order. With back orders we can give an estimate date but these dates often slip and its completely out of our control unfortunately.

Returns Policy

Right To Return

You have the right to return a product or to cancel an order within the first 14 days following delivery (excluding special order items – see below). We also reserve the right to refund your purchase minus any charges that we have incurred in sourcing and delivering your product.

For returns outside of the 14 day cancellation period a 25% handling fee will be charged.

Special Order Items

Special order items are ordered especially from overseas manufacturers for you and for this reason are non-returnable. We will not be able to accept special order goods back for credit or exchange. Please consider this before ordering through our website. Our main business is sourcing parts for you from outside the UK, we do not stock the vast majority of products listed and therefore can't accept returns on items we have ordered in specially for you. We can accept returns on our own brand - Tarmac Sportz Limited and on UK brands that accept returns. To find out whether an item is eligible for return please contact us prior to ordering. Wheels that are machined to your specifications can not be returned unless faulty or damaged.

Returning Your Item

If you wish to return any item then please follow these basic steps:

  1. Click here and fill out the return/warranty form. Please allow 3-4 working days for your request to be seen/approved by our team, refunds will be processed within 7 days after recieving the part.
  2. Send the goods to the following address: Returns, Tarmac Sportz Limited, Unit 33 Chequers Lane, Derby, DE21 6AW. Please note that we can only refund if goods are returned in the original packaging in “as new” condition - this includes the black outer packaging we send goods out with, any boxes returned with duct tape or similar that has ruined the outside of the box will be charged a reboxing fee of up to £25.
  3. Attach a copy of the delivery note or invoice as proof of purchase
  4. Return costs are the responsibilty of the buyer unless item is faulty or damaged
  5.  By law we have up to 30 days to process a refund, however, our aim is to keep it under 7 working days so please allow this time for the goods to be checked and deemed re-sellable.

Correct Parts Supplied

If we have correctly supplied the product as ordered then we will reimburse the product costs only. Any carriage costs will not be refunded and you will also be responsible for the return carriage charges.

Incorrect Parts Supplied

If we have incorrectly supplied the product as ordered then we will reimburse the product costs and the return carriage costs. These costs will be refunded as credit note in the form of a discount code. We require proof of carriage costs to be sent to along with your original order number.

Incomplete/Damaged or Incorrect Goods

If the goods are delivered incomplete, have been damaged in transit, have been incorrectly supplied – In this case we reserve the right to replace the product. If you require a refund, we will reimburse the product costs but not carriage costs. Please note that you will also be responsible for the return carriage charges.

Please note: You must inform us of damaged deliveries within 72 hours of delivery. We are unable to accept responsibility for damage to goods beyond these periods.

Warranty/Faulty Items

Products supplied by Tarmac Sportz Limited are subject to the warranty set by the manufacturer. If you have a problem within 90 days of purchase we will replace the part but reserve the right to test items before exchange. This may require the part to be returned to the original manufacturer. After 90 days the part will either be repaired or replaced at our discretion.

Before exchanging goods we reserve the right to test items thought to be at fault. Payment will be required for any replacement parts sent out before return of ‘faulty’ goods. If items are returned and found not to be at fault they will be returned to the customer or a credit note issued to the value of the goods less a 15% administration charge.

The guarantee on parts is limited to the product itself. We do not cover any labour costs incurred in removing and replacing parts that are faulty or thought to be faulty.

Our guarantee does not cover any form of impact damage.

Product Exchanges

If you wish to return a product for exchange then we reserve the right to deduct our initial shipping fee. (i.e. the shipping fee that we have incurred in shipping the first product to you) and a handling charge. Goods returned outside of the 14 day cancellation period will either be exchanged for other goods or a credit note issued. Parts that have been fitted, modified or are not in a resalable condition will not be accepted back for credit or exchange. Wheels that have had tyres fitted are not eligible for return even if supplied incorrectly.

(The handling charge is to offset the costs incurred by ourselves in processing and shipping your order as requested)

Return of Goods Outside of the 14 Days Cancellation Period

For all goods returned outside of this period, subject to the parts being returned in their original packaging in a resalable condition, we will issue a credit note to the value of the goods less handling/re-stocking fee's. 

 

The maximum time for a return by law is 30 days, we cannot accept any returns after this period
