The PCV System is one of the first systems used to control emissions, by drawing leftover gases from the oil pan and the bottom of the engine, and route them back into the engine manifold, where they are re-burned to lower emissions,
An old PCV valve can cause performance and emission issues, shown by rough idling, sluggish acceleration or increased oil consumption.
The O-ring is also included which is required when fitting a new PCV Valve
