The engineers at Injen designed a custom battery relocation box that allows the airbox to be moved safely to the front of the engine bay. This swap provides two benefits. The first benefit is moving the airbox closer and in direct alignment with the factory air inlet to feed cool, fresh air to that hungry turbo diesel. The second benefit from moving the airbox forward is the path for the intake tract is now smoothed out and requires far less bends. This results in a further reduction in restriction and increased power output.
