To avoid gravel or large stones getting stuck in the grooves and damaging the tyre the stepped center sub grooves in the wall design with polygon edges are designed to eject the debris.

To eject mud and gravel, the stone ejector is placed between the main grooves and the groove wall at the tyre shoulder.

Avoiding abnormal tyre wear, the connecting bar design between the tread pattern enhances the tread block rigidity.

The AT-5+ with a high amount of silica can increase vehicle stability in wintery conditions.
