The factory tow hook on the Nissan Z gets the job done, but its fixed-position design leaves the ring sticking out from the bumper even when not in use. This swivel tow hook was designed to retain an OE-inspired profile while improving both appearance and functionality.

The kit includes a zinc-coated steel threaded adapter that installs into the factory recovery point in the front crash bar, allowing the tow ring to mount only as far outward as necessary to remain accessible through the bumper opening. The freely rotating ring can then fold flat against the bumper for a cleaner, lower-profile appearance when not in use.

The tow ring itself is CNC-machined from lightweight 6061 billet aluminum and is available in black or red anodized finishes.

Please note there are two different size tow hook mounts on early production 350Z's. Z's manufactured with a production date of 06/2002 - 02/2004 have a tow hook thread size of 16mm and should select the 2003 year option. All Z's manufactured AFTER 02/2004 have a tow hook thread size of 22mm and should select the 2004-2008 year option. An extended-length version is available for '07-'08 NISMO models and increases length 45mm over the standard versions. If you suspect your crash bar could have been changed or are unsure which option to select, we recommend measuring your tow hook mount prior to ordering.
